I am not a country music person. The TV makes a big deal out of Taylor Swift and I really like Love Story. So, I buy the CD to give it a try. After listening the CD couple times, I still don't like country music. Love Story is still very good. And she still ain't Hannah Montana. So, I don't know. Maybe the songs are just not loud enough for me. or maybe the country music is how it is. But Love Story is still a 5-star music. The rest of the songs are just ok I guess.
Forgot to mention that the package was very nice. It came with a colorful booklet with beautiful pictures and a small poster. 5 stars for the packaging.

This is true country music! Almost as good as Carrie Underwood. Leave it to Taylor Swift to make a classic album. Who needed that "Folsom Prison" Johnny Cash junk? We have the true country legend right here! GO TAYLOR!

Taylor Swift has a voice one can listen to over and over (and I have). Outstanding Album! She started out as a Really Great Singer with a silky, smooth voice who can turn gutsy on a single note; her music and lyrics (credits to her co-writers, too) have matured in a very short time. It's refreshing to hear an album with no "in-your-face" (blatanly offensive words, or explicit obscene connotations) junk thrown in just for fun or in the name of "creative license." Taylor Swift takes simple life situations and makes something more lifelike out of them, as her songs range from Country to Pop Country to Balad. Kudos to surrounding herself with very talented musicians who blend well and complement her stage presence. She also shows you do not have to be on American Idol to be an American Idol. And did I mention the voice? Give her "a listen."

Not much into country but this one touched me.I heard Love Story and thats all it took.White Horse is great sad but you feel her emotion.So glad i bought this cd.
