5 out of 5 stars Bellamy's biggest hits 1976-1983   October 10, 2008
Steven Ferguson (Marquette, MI USA)
This CD has most of the biggest hits from the aforementioned period of the Bellamy's career. Most of the top 10 hits are here. Their top 20 hits "Slippin' Away", "Lovin' You" and "They Could Put Me In Jail" are not included. "Let Your Love Flow" and "Get Into Reggae Cowboy" were not even top 20 country hits. However, they are both great songs and deserve to appear on any Bellamy Brothers compilation.

If you have this CD, you should also get Greatest Hits Volume Two and Greatest Hits Volume Three. Volume Three is however out-of-print and hard to find. You can still find copies of the Bellamy Brothers' Greatest Hits Volume Three at Amazon Marketplace.

5 out of 5 stars Always fresh, unique and fun music!!   August 9, 2007
Rizzo (Denver, CO)
The unique and versatile sound of the Bellamy Brothers will always be fresh. Their sound is southern country, reggae, rock. The 70s will never forget their popular "Let Your Love Flow", a song with all the right elements to make it a memorable hit.

If you tire of the manufactured country music the past decade has given us, listen to the traditional music of the Bellamy Brothers. I caught their music from the old Country Music Television days of video and their songs were never the same, the music was danceable, fun and lyrics were meaningful.

This collection is wonderful! Other than my favorite classic, Let Your Love Flow, I enjoy entertaining rhythm of Redneck Girl, Do You Love as Good As You Look, and Lovers Live Longer.

There are more original songs to be heard by the Bellamy Brothers. If you don't know them, and you like fresh voices with entertaining lyrics, get to know the Bellamy Brothers. ......Rizzo
