Anyone else having problems playing this disc?April 10, 2009 Jennifer R. Hoover I absolutely adore this cd, but I'm having problems playing it in all my players. Perhaps it is because it is "enhanced?" It won't play in my computer, or my car player. This might be the particular disc I purchased, but be sure to test it out immediately upon receiving it. However, this should not stop you from purchasing it; just be careful and make sure it plays before the return time is up. Great music. Keep it up, Jo Dee!

This cd has been wonderful to listen to. Put together very well. I love the song Because You Love Me. Dedicated to my husband of nearly 20 long but great years of my life. He has never judged me, he believes in me and has been there in my life through thick and thin, not talking about weight now, but lifes difficult situations and troubling tough times. If he has left my side it was to go to work and nothing more. I have always questioned that he was going to leave me after all these years, that is a trust issue that i have. But the answer from him is no, Because He loves me. Thank you Jodee you couldnt have sang it any better and for anyone other than me. I love you sweetheart with all of my heart and all that i am and no matter where I live. Thank you for every little thing you do for me, whether it is doing laundry, helping me move around or just being there to listen to me, or handing me a tissue to cry into. Thanks for being there for me and with me. I cant imagine anyone else doing anything better than you. I love you! You do it all Because You Love Me.
An artistic pop gemJuly 27, 2007 John Lyons(Atlanta, Georgia) This is a fine example of a country pop album in the best sens of the phrase. The songs are generally upbeat, the music is catchy/punchy, with a well-done modern country rock backup, very memorable melodies and some excellent songwriting. The lyrics tell stories from the point of view of a woman who knows what she wants from life and love, and so her setbacks don't leave her totally down and helpless. Very refreshing!
The recording mix is very well balanced, given that the musicians aren't playing to stand out. That's Jo Dee's job, and of course she has an excellent voice for this kind of material. If you like this genre, it's well worth having, an artistic pop gem.
